2021 Year in Review: New challenges in the form of speed dating and an e-shop for singles
Do you also feel the urge to take stock at the end of the year and look back at the months that will soon belong to the past? I’m exactly the same. It's vital to stop, even if just for a moment, and think about what 2021 gave and what it took away.
Honestly, both professionally and personally, it was an incredibly packed year for me. Even though we couldn't organise any events for singles during the first six months, I certainly didn't slow down. My daughter was born in January, and I spent my time learning how to take care of her (and myself!) without losing my mind. The ban on events actually worked in my favour—I really wouldn't have managed both!
What dating events took place?
By June, I was getting restless, so I planned the popular Healthy Back Workshop for July.
Even though I swore "never again" because of the logistical nightmare and hours of preparation, I organised another picnic for you in August. This time, I didn’t forget to order the good weather! :-)
We enjoyed the Indian summer with our evergreen event—in September, we walked through the centre of Brno with a guide, discovering its beauty and legends.
And what else is there to do in October besides sit with a glass of wine? The wine tasting was the obvious choice.
New arrivals in 2021
Our team grew with a new addition—our wonderful Zlatka. She took charge of a brand-new highlight in our offer: Speed Dating. After three successful events in November and December and fantastic feedback, I’m so glad I trusted her to expand our repertoire with "rapid dating."
To make sure I didn't get bored, I created a little treat: our E-shop for Singles. Who is it for? For everyone without a partner who wants to feel playful, confident, and show that they take their single status with a sense of humour. You'll find clothes and accessories with witty slogans designed to grab attention. That’s what dating is about—you have to be noticed!
At the end of 2021, I feel joy, gratitude, and exhaustion. It was quite a ride—new ideas, new collaborations, new experiences. It confirmed to me that when you love what you do, there’s nothing to worry about and the word "impossible" simply doesn't exist! :-D
And what would I like to wish you (and us) for the new year of 2022? May we not be afraid to fulfil our dreams, try new things, and push beyond our comfort zones—but not to the point of burnout. Most importantly, stay healthy and stay playful!
