Why girls don’t want a "nice guy"
Do we really want a "nice guy"—or not?
"Nice guys" can be found anywhere and everywhere. There have been, are, and always will be plenty of them! But we girls don’t just want a nice guy; we want a man with a good heart!
What is the difference?
A man with a good heart is kind, supportive, caring, and faithful. HOWEVER, he is also strong and firm in his opinions and values. He knows his own worth (he is truly self-confident) and pursues his goals.
A "Nice Guy" lets everyone walk all over him just to please them. He ignores his own needs and essentially uses his exaggerated kindness and self-sacrifice as a form of manipulation, hoping he will be "rewarded" with love. When that doesn't happen, he complains that nice guys always finish last and claims that women actually prefer "bad boys."
A "bad boy" might have charisma, and things might be exciting because you never quite know where you stand—but ultimately, we long for trust and security. We don't want to have our hearts broken or be constantly disappointed. That is why we want a good man.
